Eber's Custom Branding feature lets businesses tailor the "from" address for emails. Instead of a generic sender address, businesses can use their own brand name or a recognizable variation (e.g., info@yourbusiness.com). This customization reinforces brand identity, increases the likelihood of messages being opened, and helps customers quickly identify communications as coming from a trusted source.

How to Use Custom Branding for Email

  1. Navigate to the Messaging, select Custom Branding section within the Eber platform.

  2. Select the Email Sender tab.

  3. Click Create, input the desired sender name and email address you want to use as the sender address (e.g., info@yourbusiness.com).

  4. Eber will provide specific DNS records (CNAME and DKIM) that you will need to add to your email domain's DNS settings. This step is crucial for verifying your ownership of the email address and authorizing Eber to send emails on your behalf.

  5. Coordinate with your IT department or website administrator to add these DNS records to your domain's DNS settings.

  6. Once the records are added, return to the Email Settings page in Eber and click Check Status.

  7. Both CNAME and DKIM status must show as "Verified" for the custom email sender to be activated.

  8. Once verified, you can select your custom email address as the default sender for your email communications.
