Introduction
In this article, you will learn how to set up a campaign bot according to your campaign needs. Campaign Bots offer a more interactive and engaging approach. These bots enable two-way communication by facilitating real-time conversations with recipients. This dynamic interaction not only enhances customer support but also allows for a more tailored experience, as messages can be automated based on user behavior and preferences.
Key Benefits
Increased Engagement: Campaign Bots create a more interactive experience, encouraging customers to engage with the brand in real-time.
Personalized Communication: By automating messages based on user actions and preferences, businesses can deliver more relevant content.
Optimized Campaign Delivery: The ability to set message frequency ensures that campaigns are aligned with business timelines, improving the effectiveness of messaging strategies.
How to Set Up a Campaign Bot
Navigate to Messaging and select Campaign Bot. A list of event examples is available for reference. If you wish to create a customized campaign, click on "Create" and proceed with the setup. The steps are similar to configuring the Campaign Messaging function. You can choose to send messages via email or SMS.
In the settings, note the key difference from traditional Campaign Messaging: Instead of scheduling when to send out the messages, you need to set the frequency of the messages. This ensures that the campaign deliverables are aligned with your campaign timeline.
Under the Frequency dropdown field, select your desired timings. If you choose the "Months" option, be aware that the months are displayed as numerical values. For example, 1 represents January, and 5 represents May.
In the Schedule setting, there is a checkbox that controls how frequently messages are sent to the same user:
If the checkbox is checked, the system will skip the user and repeat the campaign blast after X days from the last triggered message. This setting overwrites the Frequency selected above. For example, if you set up a retention mailer with the audience filter set to "Last Visit is more than 30 days" and a Daily frequency, but you don’t want to message inactive users too frequently, you can set a buffer to skip those users for X days. This allows you to maintain a daily frequency for new users who meet the criteria.
If the checkbox is unchecked, the system will skip the user indefinitely after the last trigger. This means the user will receive the message only once, regardless of the Frequency setting.
Conclusion
The Campaign Bot in Eber revolutionizes customer communication by enabling interactive, real-time messaging. Its advanced frequency settings allow businesses to optimize campaign delivery while maintaining user engagement. By leveraging the personalized communication capabilities of the Campaign Bot, businesses can enhance customer experience and drive better marketing outcomes.
