Introduction
Dotdigital is a customer engagement and marketing automation platform that helps businesses connect with customers across email, SMS, social media, and other digital channels. It offers tools for creating personalized email campaigns, automating workflows, and segmenting audiences to improve customer retention and conversions.
In this article, you will learn how to seamlessly integrate Dotdigital with Eber, unlocking a range of powerful marketing automation and CRM capabilities.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to get started and ensure a smooth setup process between Dotdigital and Eber. You may also refer to the video tutorial at the end of this article.

1. Sign in to your Eber XM account.

2. Navigate to "Apps", then under the "Categories" section, select "Integrations". Search for "Dotdigital" and click "Enable".

3. Once enabled, go to "Settings" & click "Add New Connection", you may input your preferred name.


4. Click "Settings" on the connected integration, and you will be redirected to a new page where you will need to authenticate by entering your API User Email and creating a new password. You can find your API credentials under Dotdigital Settings > Access > API Users.


5. Go to Dotdigital Settings> Access> API Users, select "Add New API User" & insert your dotdigital account's password.


6. Go back to the page in Step 4 to enter the API credentials. Click "Connect" & you will be connected successfully.

Upon successful connection, you will gain access to the program settings that are currently supported, allowing you to easily select the triggering event for your campaign automation.


To ensure a smooth integration between Eber and Dotdigital, there are specific fields that need to be configured in Dotdigital’s portal before syncing member data


Prerequisite Setup on Dotdigital

Before starting the integration, ensure that the following fields are set up on Dotdigital's portal:

  • EBER_POINT_BALANCE (Text)

  • EBER_TAGS (Text)

  • EBER_TIER_ID (Number)

  • EBER_TIER_NAME (Text)

Ensure these fields are properly configured in both systems to guarantee seamless data synchronization and accurate member tracking.
