What to expect between Eber and Wati?
1. Create New Member Profile: The functionality enables seamless user management by synchronizing data between the Eber XM and Wati platforms via API endpoints. This integration allows for the creation and retrieval of user information, ensuring smooth and consistent user experiences across both systems. Currently, we support the "Rewards Claimed" and "Welcome" events, with plans for further event support in the future.
"Rewards Claimed" event:
When a user claims a reward (e.g., loyalty points, discount vouchers, or any other incentive) through Eber XM, this event is triggered.
It will then update the user's profile and also triggers a corresponding action in Wati to notify the user via WhatsApp. For example, after a user claims a reward, they might receive a message like "Congratulations! You’ve claimed your reward! Enjoy your discount on your next purchase."
"Welcome" event:
When a new user is onboarded on Eber XM (e.g., after signing up or creating an account), a "Welcome" event is triggered.
This event ensures that the user is automatically created or updated in Wati, allowing businesses to send a personalized welcome message through WhatsApp (e.g., "Welcome to [Brand Name]! We’re excited to have you. Enjoy 10% off your first order!").
2. Create New User on Wati by syncing existing members on XM: When updating or creating user information in the Eber XM platform, the system triggers the creation of a corresponding user in Wati. This means that when new user data is entered or existing user data is updated in XM, the platform automatically ensures that this user information is also created or synchronized in Wati, maintaining consistency across both systems.
3. Update User Info: The process of updating user information between Eber XM and Wati involves synchronizing both contact details and metadata through Wati’s Contact Management API. This ensures that user data remains consistent and up-to-date across both platforms, enabling businesses to engage with their customers seamlessly on WhatsApp.
