Scenario :

My membership have 3 tiering - Bronze, Gold and VIP. My default point is MYR1 for 1 point. I want to award my member as follows :

  • Bronze, MYR1 for 1 point.

  • Silver, MYR1 for 2 points.

  • VIP, MYR1 for 3 points.

---

As we can see from the points setting, the default point value is MYR1 for 1 point. This means that MYR1 for 1 point will be allocated to the Bronze tier automatically. As a result, there is no action required for the Bronze tier.

We will now establish points rules for Silver and VIP.

Loyalty > Points > Points Rule.

Click on [ + Create ] and you will be diverted to new page

Setting Silver Points Rule:

1. Fill in the "Name" section with the name of your Silver rule.

2. Under "Main Conditions," set the appropriate parameter. In this case, will be {Member Tier is Silver}. Hit [ Add Rule ].

3. Scroll all the way down to "Points are given by," then choose [ Per Dollar ].

4. Enter the number of points to be given. In this case, {2 points for every MYR1}.

5. Hit [ Save ]. Done for the Silver point rule.

Setting VIP Points Rule:

1. Fill in the "Name" area with the name of your VIP rule.

2. Under "Main Conditions," set the appropriate parameter. In this case, will be {Member Tier is VIP}. Hit [ Add Rule ].

3. Scroll all the way down to "Points are given by," then choose [ Per Dollar ].

4. Enter the number of points to be given. In this case, {3 points for every MYR1}.

5. Hit [ Save ]. Done for the VIP point rule.

Congratulations, the point rule has now been configured. Members of the Silver and VIP tiers will receive MYR1 to 2 points and MYR1 to 3 points, respectively.
